Magical Maths

  Magical Maths

In Te Ngahere we have been doing different types of maths activities. I'm doing an activity called Circle Links. What we have to do is find the measurements for circular objects. For example a bottle we have to measure the circumference which is the outer rim and then when we do that we have to measure the diameter which is directly across the middle and it normally would be half of the circumference if it was 12 cm it would most likely be 6 cm but that doesn't happen all the time. We also have to learn about Pi which is defined as the ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter.

  1. Hello my name is Salamasina and I am from Owairaka school. You are really smart if I was learning this I would not know what my teacher was talking about. I thought I was good maths but I would not even know what to do. Maybe some day I can learn. Blog you later.
