League

League

Kia ora Yesterday my class and I played Rugby League with Matua Henry it was really awesome. He taught us skills like timing and teamwork. Before we played a game we did some warm ups like running, stretching and lunging from 1 point to another. It was really fun to do the warm ups. We ended up playing touch instead of league because there was to many of us. But we did learn some league techniques and all the rules for proper league. Im looking forward to Matua Henry visiting us again. It was really chill and humble.

Wicked Sports

Wicked Sports

This week we played a game called Aerial Bombardment it's pretty much dodge-ball
just with a little touch-up. It was challenging because in every game I was the last person standing in my team. Other than that it was really fun and tiring it was all about technique and timing. I was quite proud of myself and my team, it was awesome to play and I wouldn't mind playing again. Have you ever played Aerial Bombardment?

Funky Fractions

Funky fractions Our WALT was to identify fractions, find fractions of a set, convert fractions to decimals and convert fractions to percentages. In Te Ngahere we have been learning how to properly solve fractions and equivalent fractions by converting fractions to decimals. It was pretty hard the first few questions but we got it eventually and it was really fun to do it. It also really made me think and made my group think too. Do you know how to solve equivalent fractions?
